Americans long conditioned into silence are bursting with joy at merely being allowed to have a voice. This is why the media-political complex is so enraged. Trump has allowed us to have a voice. They would rather we not exist at all, but if we insist on being alive, we must be silent:

"Trump shows that what is most in demand...is not ideological purity but patriotic zeal. Trump alone appears to understand that politics is more than policy and ideology."...

9/7/2015, "Traitor to His Class," Julius Krein, Weekly Standard

"What Trump offers is permission to conceive of an American interest as a national interest separate from the “international community”....

Nothing is more terrifying to the elite than Trump’s embrace of a tangible American nationalism....The critical question, however, is not the source of Trump’s popularity but rather the reason his popularity is so shocking to our political culture....

Trump shows that what is most in demand...is not ideological purity but patriotic zeal....

Trump alone appears to understand that politics is more than policy and ideology."...

Comment: A note about crowds spontaneously chanting USA, USA at Trump rallies. It means they're happy to be Americans, joyful at the thought that with Trump our government will put us first instead of last. In the past, normal patriotic feelings have been exploited by the neocon industry to mislead Americans into supporting a specific war. We were fooled into supporting, paying for, being maimed by or killed for something that wasn't a war. It was an industry of global hate, endless suffering, and theft, one that is now supported by US media and embedded throughout US government. By 2004 we were told we were "nation building," and if we didn't like it we were racist. USA! USA! In 2016 it's much worse. The US sells billions of dollars in weapons to the most violent and terror instigating countries in the world, all with the blessing of the entire political class. The heroic US military is in many countries today doing all kinds of projects, including "training" various groups. No amount of military "training" can help a place that lacks a civil society. The word "neocon" used to be mocked, it used to mean a kind of nutty Republican. Today, the neocon philosophy dominates both political parties, major media outlets, the entire consultant and think tank industry. War profiteers formerly claiming to be "Republican"--and whom no one cared about in any case-- have in 2016 vociferously switched to the democrat party and its candidate. Being patriotic includes being friendly with all countries and helping them when we can. It doesn't mean we're here to be global slaves to the murderous neocon industry which has destabilized Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, has caused most of the human suffering on earth today, is salivating for more, has been wrong about everything, has never apologized, and has made lots of money.

8/18/2015, "Trump: Giving Voice to the American "Subconscious"," Diana West

"To say the Media-Political Complex has really lost its cool over Donald Trump, also every marble, is barest understatement....

Before Trump, the American "subconscious," circa 2015, would never "originally think" a US border was possible, let alone a wall; immigration restriction was possible, let alone a halt; immigration law enforcement was possible; the deportation of illegal families was possible; restoration of American citizenship as a privilege, not a stolen good, was possible; jobs for Americans were possible; and the rest. Donald Trump, bless him, has changed the American subconscious, giving voice to Americans long conditioned into silence by this same Media-Political Complex. And there is nothing, but nothing, they can do about it now."
