"The Wall Street Journal's Amy Chozick was the print pool reporter at the fundraiser. Here's her report...

"He (Obama) warned [at 6/13 fundraiser] that the general election campaign could get ugly

They’re going to try to scare people. They’re going to try to say that ‘that Obama is a scary guy,’” he said.

"On Election Day 2008, Maruse Heath [known today as King Samir Shabazz], the leader of Philadelphia's New Black Panther Party, stood in front of a neighborhood polling place, dressed in a paramilitary uniform.

Within hours, an amateur video showing Heath, slapping a black nightstick and exchanging words with the videographer [identified on the video as a University of Pennsylvania student], had aired on TV."...

The University of Pennsylvania student reporter approached the man with the club and politely asked him what organization he represented. The man with the club said, "security."

No voter irregularities were claimed. The only consequence was the men were banned from standing in front of Philadelphia polling places with a weapon or wearing the party uniform through the 2012 elections."
