11/17/15, "Moonbats and Syrian refugees," Boston Herald, Howie Carr
4/16/2013 |
"The moonbats were so angry at the (Massachusetts) governor yesterday that they tagged him with a new first name -- Republican Charlie Baker.
How dare he! Declining to put out a welcome mat for "Syrian refugees" -- a huge percentage of whom are neither Syrian nor refugees -- is enough to make them stamp their Birkenstock-clad feet on the floor and hold their breath until Bernie Sanders is elected president.
The liberals were screaming at the radios in their Priuses as they heard their favorite NPR station reporting Republican Charlie Baker's xenophobic, nativist, racist, transgressive microaggressions.
"No, I'm not interested in accepting refugees from Syria," Republican Charlie Baker said at the State House, as Democratic Mayor Marty Walsh stood beside him, not exactly disagreeing. "The safety and security of the people ... is my highest priority."
Have you ever heard such hate speech?
As one trust-funder put it on a message board: "What miserable people Baker and his lap dog Walsh are. Have they no faith in the USA Homeland Security people?" Good question. And the answer is no. This weekend Ben Rhodes, an administration pajama boy whose brother is a big shot at "CBS News," did the full Susan Rice, going on all five political talk shows to lie about "vetting" the so-called migrants.
On Fox, Rhodes touted the "very robust vetting procedures." On NBC, it was the administration's "very careful vetting process."
You know, like the Tsarnaevs. Yeah, they were vetted all right. How ironic that Obama should mention them yesterday, describing the serial killers from the Third World as "two brothers and a crockpot."
A crockpot? It was a pressure cooker. And by the way, what kind of "brothers" were they? Muslims? Refugees? Welfare leeches? Drug dealers? Answer: all of the above. Who knows if Republican Charlie Baker can actually refuse to accept another 500 or 1,000 Tsarnaevs? But at least he's finally saying the right things. For once he didn't claim that some liberal abomination from the Deval Patrick error, er, era, is "under review."
Naturally, the Beautiful People are in high dudgeon, their faces contorted with rage. But when aren't they? Their argument is, these Muslims are nice religious people, not bitter clingers. So what if a "miniscule subset" (exact quote) want to kill us. Not a problem if you have armed security.
How many of the trust-funders on social media yesterday mentioned Timothy McVeigh? What would they do without McVeigh? This is the same crowd that believes the Blue Hills deer hunt is genocide.
You'd think they'd be volunteering to take some of these poor Muslims into their neighborhoods. Oh, that's right -- their bosky dells aren't zoned for jihad. But your neighborhood is, or soon will be, if they have their way.
As for our governor, as long as the moonbats are calling him "Republican Charlie Baker," he must be doing something right."
