Over a quarter of a million more in Ohio voted for Trump in 2016 than for Romney in 2012. Longtime insider Romney won Ohio by only 1% in 2012. 727,585 in Ohio voted for Trump in 2016 Republican primary, a 57% increase over Romney's 2012 total

March 15, 2016, Ohio GOP primary, Trump's 727,585 total easily beat Romney's March 6, 2012 Ohio GOP primary total of 460,831.
Trump received 266,754 more votes than Establishment insider Romney, a 57% increase.
