"A blizzard will continue to bring significant travel problems to the central United States into Thursday.

The snow will shift eastward into portions of the Upper Midwest into Thursday, including cities of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Minneapolis, and Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Snowfall rates may reach one or even two inches per hour for a time overnight," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Carl Erickson said. "The heavier snow will expand into northern lower Michigan late Wednesday into Thursday."

Total snowfall will range from 6-12 inches within this swath, while 12-18 inches could fall in a narrow corridor from extreme southeastern Minnesota through central Wisconsin and northern Michigan, he added....

6:09 p.m. MDT Wednesday: "Snow is rapidly coming to an end around Denver and eastern Colorado this evening where the storm dumped anywhere from 12-18 inches of snow across the region with some local reports of 20 inches," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Carl Erickson said.
