3 US Green Berets murdered entering a military base in supposedly friendly Jordan where they'd ridiculously been sent by the Neocon US to help "train" Jordanians. To do what? Neocon US won't or can't stop terrorism and defend its own borders, and therefore is in no position to market its "training" services elsewhere, especially to Middle East hell holes, where US Neocons are drawn like bees to honey squandering lives and taxpayer dollars

Update, 11/12/16: "The United States...increasingly relies on a combination of drones, special operators and CIA paramilitary forces to wage its wars around the globe."... US wages "wars around the globe?" What happened to the Nobel Peace Prize laureate the Soros Euros slobbered over?

11/6/16, "Kirksville, MO graduate one of three U.S. service men killed in Jordan,",

"A Kirksville graduate was one of three U.S. service members killed during a training mission in Jordan on Friday, November 4. According to a press release from the United States Army, the three men killed were Special Forces soldiers from the 5th Special Forces Group located in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

One of those men, has been identified as 27-year-old Staff Sgt. Matthew Lewellen, most recently of Lawrence, Kansas.

Matthew Lewellen was a 2007 graduate of Kirksville High School.

The three Green Berets reportedly came under fire as they were entering a military base near Jordan's capital city, Amman.

A statement issued by Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook, expresses condolences to the families of the servicemen. He also says this incident is still under investigation....

In addition to this training mission, Lewellen had more than 6 years of service with the U.S. Army.

This was his second tour overseas. During his time the the Army, Lewellen received numerous awards."...

11/12/16, Update from Washington Post which is a full partner with the US government: US forces killed in Jordan were in special CIA unit which US uses "to wage its wars around the globe." Yeah, US taxpayers are now funding "wars around the globe." What happened to the busloads of "anti-war" demonstrators who went silent the day global murderer and Nobel Peace Prize winner Obama took office? Answer: They're back now that Obama's official replacement has been elected:

11/12/16, "Army Special Forces soldiers killed in Jordan were working for the CIA," Washington Post,

"According to Jordanian accounts, the incident began with the accidental discharge of a weapon inside one of the Americans’ Humvees as a small convoy was preparing to enter the base following a training exercise with Syrian opposition fighters, the Middle Eastern official said. In the ensuing confusion, shots were fired at U.S. personnel, some of whom got out of their vehicle to take cover.

“Security was heightened at the time,” amping up the adrenaline among a guard force trained to respond rapidly to perceived threats, the official said. Investigators have found no evidence suggesting a deliberate targeting of the Americans, he said.

The incident took place five months after six Jordanian border guards were killed in a suicide-car bombing near the Syrian border. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for that attack. Last November, a Jordanian police officer shot and killed two American contractors and three others inside a police training center near Amman.
Jordan has reacted defensively in the past to allegations that its citizens deliberately targeted Americans. The moderate Sunni Arab country relies heavily on U.S. military and economic aid, and works closely with U.S. intelligence agencies, making it a prime target for Islamist extremist groups."...

[Ed. note: A Middle East hell hole "relies heavily" on US taxpayer provided "military aid economic aid." "Military aid" to do what? Why are US taxpayers forced to give "military aid" to Middle East hell holes which are very happy being Middle East hell holes when we desperately need "military aid" to secure and protect our wide open borders? Answer: To the US political class the US doesn't exist except as a money laundering operation to enrich the crony Neocon war industry including embarrassing US military "training" operations "around the globe." The US military isn't qualified to "train" other countries to do anything. "Training" endless streams of so-called moderate Islamic terrorists is just another way to starve US taxpayers. Let someone "train" the US military (CIA, Pentagon, whatever) to protect US borders which remain wide open for thousands of invaders crossing every week.]

(continuing): "Years of cooperation between Jordanian and U.S. intelligence services has yielded a string of counterterrorism successes but also occasional disasters, including the 2009 Khost bombing, in which a Jordanian intelligence officer also was killed.

The shooting in Jordan comes on the heels of the deaths of two CIA paramilitary officers killed in Afghanistan, according to U.S. officials. The five deaths mark a period of heavy loss for the clandestine organization and highlights the extent to which the United States — having sidelined much of its conventional forces in the fight against the Islamic State and other militant groups — increasingly relies on a combination of drones, special operators and CIA paramilitary forces to wage its wars around the globe."...

[Ed. note: Is the CIA a country? This article says it wages "wars around the globe." Where does it get its money?]

(continuing): "The deaths of the three soldiers also provide a rare window into"...

[Ed. note: Gosh, we must be lucky, getting a "rare window" into this criminal farce. The CIA should be closed down.]

(continuing): "the CIA’s practice of “detailing” U.S. troops and special operators for clandestine missions. The 5th Special Forces Group previously had been deployed to Jordan in 2013 to train members of the Pentagon’s Syrian train-and-equip program, but the mission’s scope was severely curbed in the past year as it failed to produce large numbers of trained fighters willing to take on only the Islamic State.

The CIA’s program [as opposed to the Pentagon's], on the other hand, allows its trainees to fight both Syrian government forces and the terrorist group.

There have been at least two previous instances of service members dying while working for the CIA since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Sgt. 1st Class Nathan Ross Chapman was a Special Forces soldier detailed to the agency in 2002 when he was killed alongside CIA paramilitary officers in eastern Afghanistan, as was Marine Maj. Douglas Zembiec, who was killed during a shootout in Baghdad in 2007.

In both cases the men eventually were awarded stars on the CIA’s memorial wall. Located in the CIA’s front foyer, it tallies those who died serving the agency. It is unclear if the soldiers who died last week will receive similar recognition; the CIA does not always release names that correspond with the stars on the wall."
