Velvet kidnaps her and tries to talk her out of testifying, but he cannot dissuade her. He then thinks that if he kidnaps George she'll listen. Johnny's henchman, Lefty keeps grabbing the wrong man. Ronald Reagan makes an appearance as himself at 18:20 and Sheldon Leonard, who previously played the gangster Silky Thompson, plays Johnny Velvet.
