"Objectives
The aim of the IPCC Scholarship Programme is to build capacity in the understanding and management of climate change in developing countries by providing opportunities for young scientists from developing countries to undertake doctoral studies.
Applications submitted by students from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are given priority.
Fields of study for the 2nd round of awards
Evaluation of applicationsApplications undergo a two-level selection process. IPCC scientific experts assess the applications in a first review. The IPCC Science Board then reviews the applications and makes a shortlist of candidates. The final selection of students from this shortlist is made by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Cuomo Foundation and the IPCC Science Board.".... |
