Totalitarian socialism seeks to combine the separate ideas of government and society

  • Crooks, academics, lifelong public sector bureaucrats, and career union members have chosen to bypass life's biggest risks and dangers. Which is fine. But it is a weakness. It means such people are unqualified to tell the rest of us how things are going to be. (ed).
"Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction
  • between government and society.
As a result of this, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the
  • socialists conclude
  • that we object to

  • its being done at all."
