You don't have to be a scientist to know Colorado Rockies at Los Angeles Dodgers was delayed one hour and 25 minutes by rain, May 14, 2015, that tarp was on the field all afternoon forcing both teams to take BP indoors

"The heavens closed back up after a 1-hour, 25-minute rain delay. When the game resumed at 10:23 Pacific Time, fewer than 10,000 of the announced crowd of 42,650 remained....

Weather was a constant factor. The infield remained covered by a tarp all afternoon, forcing both teams to take batting practice indoors

Although the game started at 7:10 p.m. as scheduled, a light rain began to fall in the second inning. By the end of the inning, lightning was flashing in the distance. Dodger Stadium organist, Nancy Bea Hefley, cued up “Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head” when the teams changed sides for the third inning.

The rain was falling heavily by the fifth and sixth innings. At one point, Anderson stepped off the pitching rubber to allow a flash of lightning to run its course through the sky.

The Rockies had runners on first and third base and one out in the sixth inning when the game was delayed."
