Rockefellers picked another winner, the $1 billion a day CO2 scare, 'end fossil fuel' industry. At least 27 Rockefeller-backed anti-CO2 "350" groups will be in NYC for a "Peoples Climate March" 9/21/14. Since China has the most CO2 and will open 360 new coal plants in next 10 yrs., why not march there?

The Rockefellers have picked another winner.

The human caused global warming/excess CO2 scare is now a $1 billion a day industry.

Rockefeller money backs anti-fossil fuel, anti-CO2 "350" groups.
At least twenty-seven "350" anti-CO2 groups are listed as "partners" in the "Peoples Climate March" on 9/21/14 in New York City, (Tab, "NYC March"). These groups traveling to Manhattan say they want lower CO2, but "350" groups say "global warming" and "climate change" are crises and the fossil fuel industry must be "dismantled." If that's so, why aren't the groups marching in China?

China is projected to build the equivalent of a new 600-megawatt coal plant every 10 days for the next 10 years.

"350" groups are marching in the wrong country if they want lower global CO2.

China CO2 continues to skyrocket as US CO2 has plunged over decades.

No global warming and  therefore no climate crisis has taken place in 15+ years.

The world does have many problems that need attention. Rockefeller "350" groups could shift their vast network's focus to problems that have been starved of attention and dollars for decades.

On the other hand, perhaps Rockefeller and Goldman Sachs ("Bubble #6, Global Warming") CO2 investments are simply  "too big to fail:"

Scientific consensus states global temperatures haven't increased in 15+ years, could remain flat for another decade, that US CO2 has plunged, is expected to go lower, that China's has skyrocketed, and will likely go higher. 30 year peer reviewed science finds CO2 doesn't cause planet warming to begin with, that CO2 lags temperatures. EPA scientists in US Federal Register say proposed rules to limit CO2 emissions from power plants "will result in negligible CO2 emissions changes." ("Costs and Benefits" subhead, Jan. 2014.) Meaning, politicians who claim the rules will help the environment are either lying or uninformed.

Goldman Sachs and the global warming industry:

July 9-23, 2009, updated 4/5/10 "The Great American Bubble Machine," Rolling Stone, Matt Taibbi

"From tech stocks to high gas prices, Goldman Sachs has engineered every major market manipulation since the Great Depression -- and they're about to do it again."

"The first thing you need to know about Goldman Sachs is that it's everywhere. The world's most powerful investment bank is a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money. In fact, the history of the recent financial crisis, which doubles as a history of the rapid decline and fall of the suddenly swindled dry American empire, reads like a Who's Who of Goldman Sachs graduates....

BUBBLE #6 Global Warming ...

The new game in town, the next bubble, is in carbon credits a booming trillion dollar market...

a groundbreaking new commodities bubble, disguised as an "environmental plan," called cap-and-trade.

The new carbon credit market is a virtual repeat of the commodities-market casino that's been kind to Goldman, except it has one delicious new wrinkle: If the plan goes forward as expected, the rise in prices will be government-mandated. Goldman won't even have to rig the game. It will be rigged in advance."...

After 16 years without warming 134 scientists asked UN Sec. Gen. Ban Ki-Moon to desist from blaming climate disasters on global warming that hasn't happened:

11/29/12, "Open letter to UN Secretary-General: Current scientific knowledge does not substantiate Ban Ki-Moon assertions on weather and climate, say 125-plus scientists," Financial Post Opinion

"We the undersigned, qualified in climate-related matters, wish to state that current scientific knowledge does not substantiate your assertions

The U.K. Met Office recently released data showing that there has been no statistically significant global warming for almost 16 years. During this period, according to the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations rose by nearly 9% to now constitute 0.039% of the atmosphere. "Global warming that has not occurred cannot have caused the extreme weather of the past few years. Whether, when and how atmospheric warming will resume is unknown. The science is unclear. Some scientists point out that near-term natural cooling, linked to variations in solar output, is also a distinct possibility.

The “even larger climate shocks” you have mentioned
would be worse if the world cooled than if it warmed. Climate changes naturally all the time, sometimes dramatically. The hypothesis that our emissions of CO2 have caused, or will cause, dangerous warming is not supported by the evidence.

The incidence and severity of extreme weather has not increased. There is little evidence that dangerous weather-related events will occur more often in the future. The U.N.’s own Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says
in its Special Report on Extreme Weather (2012) that there is “an absence of an attributable climate change signal” in trends in extreme weather losses to date. The funds currently dedicated to trying to stop extreme weather should therefore be diverted to strengthening our infrastructure so as to be able to withstand these inevitable, natural events, and to helping communities rebuild after natural catastrophes such as tropical storm Sandy.

There is no sound reason for the costly, restrictive public policy decisions proposed at the U.N. climate conference in Qatar. Rigorous analysis of unbiased observational data does not support the projections of future global warming predicted by computer models now proven to exaggerate warming and its effects.

.

The NOAA “State of the Climate in 2008” report asserted that 15 years or more without any statistically-significant warming would indicate a discrepancy between observation and prediction. Sixteen years without warming have therefore now proven that the models are wrong by their creators’ own criterion.
Based upon these considerations, we ask that you desist from exploiting the misery of the families of those who lost their lives or properties in tripical storm Sandy by making unsupportable claims that human influences caused the storm. They did not. We also ask that you acknowledge that Policy actions by the UN, or by the signatory nations to the UNFCCC, that aim to reduce CO2 emissions are unlikely to influence future climate. Climate policies need to focus on preparation for, and adaptation to, all dangerous climatic events, however caused."...Special to Financial Post, 12/10/12

"Scientists have struggled to explain the so-called pause that began in 1999, despite ever increasing levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.

The latest theory says that a naturally occurring 30-year cycle in the Atlantic Ocean is behind the slowdown....

6/4/12, Climate change stunner: USA leads world in CO2 cuts since 2006,” Vancouver Observer, Saxifrage

“Not only that, but as my top chart shows, US CO2 emissions are falling even faster than what President Obama pledged in the global Copenhagen Accord.”…Here is the biggest shocker of all: the average American’s CO2 emissions are down to levels not seen since 1964  --over half a century ago. …Coal is the number two source of CO2 for Americans. Today the average American burns an amount similar to what they did in 1955, and even less than they did in the 1940s. …It is exactly America’s historical role of biggest and dirtiest that makes their sharp decline in CO2 pollution so noteworthy and potentially game changing at the global level.”...

8/16/12, “AP IMPACT: CO2 emissions in US drop to 20-year low,” AP, Kevin Begos

In a surprising turnaround, the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere in the U.S. has fallen dramatically to its lowest level in 20 years and government officials say the biggest reason is that cheap and plentiful natural gas has led many power plant operators to switch from dirtier-burning coal.

Many of the world's leading climate scientists didn't see the drop coming in large part because it happened as a result of market forces rather than direct government action against carbon dioxide....

China led a rise in global carbon dioxide emissions to a record high in 2012 more than offsetting falls in the United States and Europe, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Monday.

. But the gain was one of the lowest China has seen in a decade, reflecting its efforts to adopt renewable sources and improve energy efficiency.

In the United States, a switch from coal to gas in power generation helped reduce emissions by 200 million tons, bringing them back to the level of the mid-1990s."...
