Comment: What is definition of “end of pandemic”? For example, US has given vaccine makers immunity from lawsuits through at least Oct. 2024. If Covid shots are given indefinitely like flu shots does that mean “pandemic” government is indefinite if not permanent (just renew every 6 months)? If you told someone that pandemic government rules would continue until “unemployment falls significantly,” they’d say you’re a “conspiracy theorist.” But it’s actually in the Democrat platform.

Added: What did the 2020 Republican Party Platform say on this topic? NOTHING, because, citing Covid, no 2020 GOP party platform exists. GOP says 2016 platform remains in effect until 2024. Like Democrats, no elected Republican has called for an end to ongoing dictatorship, nor has any gone on tv every day demanding new legislation to prevent future open-ended dictatorships. Democrats are honest about their intentions, Republicans aren't because it would reveal that US is a one-party dictatorship:

Comment#2: The GOP likely wishes they could go farther than Democrats, would love to mandate permanent lockdown for Republican voters and their families. Conversely, they’d mandate that Democrat voters never be locked down. As a Republican commenter said, “The Republicans are as corrupt and feckless as the Dems, only less honest about it.”
