I can remember snow on the ground a couple of times on my mother's birthday — 2nd May — during the 80s… and most memorably, an Easter weekend camping trip which turned into a stay in a Welsh B&B due to snow and ice in the west country.

Yesterday they complained industry had fallen too much due to poor world economy and this was endangering carbon trading profits. Oops. The "climate" convention just ended in the UK (to get ready for the next climate convention) says we must reduce industry and lower GDP to save the planet. They keep moving the pea.
