In one of Melania's paragraphs, identical phrases appeared in identical sequence to a 2008 speech of Mrs. Obama's, just enough to be noticed. Amazingly, the media knew about it before Melania even left the stage. He copied several passages from Michelle Obama’s speech in 2008 — nothing unique to her or Obama’s campaign, not Dem talking points, or anything damning like that, but still something that the media will try to turn into a scandal. He also included a few lines from “Never Gonna Give You Up” — a popular form of pranking people among Gen X-ers and Millennials during the past 5-10 years. It’s used in the context of interrupting something serious with a goofy / cheesy song.
