Warm and fuzzy Islam creeps into suffering Mississippi

7/18, "If AARP's support of ObamaCare wasn't enough to convince you that this tax-exempt nonprofit organization is really just another part of the extreme left apparatus, an article in the latest issue of the AARP Bulletin should do the trick. AARP is actually shilling for the Mullahs' regime, painting a warm and fuzzy picture of them. "Iranian Cure for the Delta's Blues" is the title, and the Cliff Notes version of the contents is roughly:

The case against Scott Brown. His presentation can only be seen as a lie and an example of why Republicans are untrustworthy and a failure.

Scott Brown became more repulsive than his votes by his candidly dismissive tone in pushing away his original supporters. I heard this numerous times.
  • Beltway politicians and their associates openly scorn likely voters. Why do they think this is useful behavior? It's insane. Someone said, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." No human being should accept scorn from an elected representative. In Scott Brown's case, people gave him precious time and money who often could ill afford to do so. Scott Brown now looks like a giant phony.
7/18/10, "A Case Against Scott Brown," American Thinker, Francis G. Rushford
  • "Scott Brown generated tremendous support and money in Massachusetts and around the country, as a messenger against the excesses of government.
The Republicans presented him as the means to stop Obamacare and as a fiscal conservative. Brown's election did not stop Obamacare; and as usual the Democrats out maneuvered the Republicans while Brown has become Ted Kennedy Lite. Brown's votes for the Jobs Bill and Financial Reform illustrate that
  • If Brown's excuse was that he traded his vote to protect jobs at Fidelity, then does that make him the Senator of Fidelity and their employees only?

If this Financial Reform Bill did not pass, then there is no need to trade a vote. Brown reduced the Democrat majority to 59 and this was supposed to stop the excess of government picking winners and losers (GM, Chrysler, Lehman, Merrill...) and the President handing out money to energy companies of his choosing.

  • The Financial Reform Bill rewards failure by institutionalizing "Too Big To Fail" at the expense of the taxpayers. The bill creates more government bureaucracy of the type that couldn't prevent the last crisis. A majority of the American people are against the excesses of government that have occurred in the bailout excess and lottery churning out of Washington since September 2008. Yet, politicians like Brown just thumb their noses in the faces of those that supported their election.

The Republican party is not trusted and is benefiting from being the only alternative.

  • People that attend Tea Parties are not Republicans, but Independents that have rejected the status quo and the choices between Democrats and Republicans.

The Republicans failed us in mismanaging two wars and allowing, spending wildly while in power,

  • and encouraging fraud in the financial sector.

If Conservatives and Independents cannot remove the yoke of the Republicans and provide a real alternative, we will never recover from the excesses and statism of Washington.

(Please note, this is not about being "far right," it is about not being a person of low character). ed.

World Cup fans urged to get HIV test since South Africa has 6 million with HIV

Up to 25,000 England fans recently returned from South Africa, where about six million people have HIV.

  • More than two-thirds of heterosexual men and a quarter of women who contract HIV do so
  • through holiday sex.

An awareness campaign is urging those who may have put themselves at risk to visit their local sexual health clinic.

Holiday sex? A cheery way to talk about suicide and homicide which more accurately describe getting or giving HIV. ed.

Obama DHS Chief Janet Napolitano thinks the governor of Alabama is Haley Barbour

****
July 15, 2010, Obama DHS chief Janet Napolitano claims she has actually been to Alabama, but it turns out she doesn't know who the governor is. (She thinks it's Haley Barbour, but he's governor of Mississippi. Who can tell the difference, right?).

Posted 7/15, from the blog of radio station 106.5fm in Mobile, Alabama. It appears Napolitano was speaking to a 106.5fm host on their local morning show, 6-9am weekdays. Sean and Wayne. Post titled, "Governor Who?"
  • I guess all those people down there blend together for the Obama administration.
